Cocoa & Banana Waffles

This secret weapon recipe will change your waffle game! Combining bananas and cocoa protein, these waffles are irresistible!


  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp. rapeseed oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tbsp. HANS Cocoa Protein Mix
  • 3 tbsp. spelt flour
  • 1 tbsp. cane sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt


Peel the banana and puree together with the rapeseed oil using a stick blender. Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix into a smooth batter without clumps.
Cook your waffles according to instructions in a greased, pre-heated waffle iron (3-5 minutes per waffle).
Garnish the waffles with your favourite toppings! We recommend plain yoghurt, banana slices, cinnamon, fresh berries, and chocolate sprinkles. Enjoy!
